Juanita B. Silvey

Juanita B. Silvey, 91 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, October 4, 1921 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lawrence Baugh and the late Myrtle Carver Baugh. She was the wife of the late Joe Silvey. She had been employed by Woodlees Grocery, a nurse aide for Dr. George Brackman, and a writer for the News Democrat/Leader newspaper. She was also a member of Dunmor Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Barry Silvey of Lewisburg, KY, sister, Betty Shingledecker of Greenville, KY; 2 grand children; Becky Young of Dunmor, KY and Jenny Harper of Belton, KY, 2 great grand children, Nate Harper and Matthew Harper, both of Belton, KY, and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Dunmor Baptist Church. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery, Dunmor, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
