John Wood Hunt

Mr. John Wood Hunt, age 86, of Lewisburg, Ky., died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Hearthstone Place in Elkton, Ky. Mr. Hunt was a retired carpenter with Lewisburg Planing Mill and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. He Served in the Navy during World War II. He was the son of the late Myrlen Hunt and the late Lou (Hope) Hunt. He is survived by his Five Daughters, Jeanie (Hunt) Sears of Sharon Grove, Ky. Betty (Hunt) Borders of Sharon Grove, Ky. Trish (Hunt) Wills of Russellville, Ky. Ladena (Hunt) Gilliam of Lewisburg, Ky. Regina (Hunt) Fryer of Lewisburg, Ky. Two Sons, Johnny Hunt of Lewisburg, Ky. Weldy Hunt of Russellville, Ky. One Sister, Ethel Downing of Lewisburg, Ky. One Brother, Robert Hunt of Lewisburg, Ky. Seventeen grandchildren Twenty Four great-grandchildren Three great-great grandchildren He was preceded in death by two sons, Carlos Fay and Bobby Ray Hunt and a grand daughter, Margena Burns. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 5:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2007. Funeral service will be at Price Funeral Home Inc. at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 23, 2007 , Rev. Darren Pentecost and Rev. Glendel Harper officiating. Interment will be at Mt.
