John Phillip Holloway, Sr., 65 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, February 2, 1950 in Russellville, Kentucky, the son of the late Alvie "Doc" Holloway and the late Ruth Hankins Holloway. He was the husband of Kathy Sumner Holloway of Russellville, KY who survives. He was retired from Sensus and a member of Crittenden Drive Church of Christ. Also surviving are son, J.P. Holloway, Jr. - (Amanda) of Russellville, KY, daughter, Chasity Brown - (Edward) of Russellville, KY, brothers, Jerry Holloway of Russellville, KY and Garnet Holloway of Russellville, KY, sisters, Linda Celsor of Russellville, KY, Brenda Gorrell of Russellville, KY and Sandra Spear of Russellville, KY; 4 grand children. He was predeceased by brothers, Rob Holloway, Doug Holloway, David Lee Holloway, Ken Holloway, Ed Holloway and Randall Holloway. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ with Mr. Charles Roney and Mr. Andy Walker officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. and again after 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Crittenden Drive Church of Christ in Russellville, KY.
