John Edward Heatherly, 80 of Greenville, Kentucky died on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky. He was born Sunday, October 23, 1938 in Springfield, Tennessee, the son of the late Willard Heatherly and the late Clure Travis Heatherly. He was the husband of Serena Heatherly, who survives. He had been a truck driver for DNE Trucking and was an artist. He served in the Marine Corp and was a Veteran of Korea. Also surviving are sons, Charles Mitchell Heatherly of Franklin, KY, Jeffrey Scott Heatherly of Franklin, KY and Timothy Wayne Heatherly of Gallatin, TN, brothers, Richard H. Heatherly of Portland, TN and H.L. Heatherly of Castalian Springs, TN, sister, Elizabeth Anderson of Cedar Hill, TN; 7 grand children. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Dr. Richard Heatherly officiating. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
