Jewel William Edwards

Jewel William Edwards, 93 of Hanson, Kentucky died on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Western Kentucky Veteran's Center in Hanson, Kentucky. He was born Saturday, October 4, 1924 in Clifty, Kentucky, the son of the late Eurie Edwards and the late Goldie Lear Edwards. He was the husband of the late Virginia McPherson Edwards. He was a self-employed carpenter and farmer, a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the US Navy, and he was a member of Mt. Vernon Church Of Christ. Surviving are daughters, Norma Jean Edwards Cravens Cheatham of Hopkinsville, KY and Jewell Diann Winters Haile of Calvert City, KY; 3 grand children; 4 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Jerry Crunk officiating. Interment will be in Slaughters Cemetery, Todd County, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday, January 29, 2018, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
