Jeffery Howard Cornelius

Jeffery Howard Cornelius, 56, of Lewisburg, Kentucky, passed away at 11:21 AM Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. Born January 6, 1965, in Greenville, Kentucky, he was the son of Bill and Lois Ann (Bowles) Cornelius. Jeffery had worked and retired from the Muhlenberg County Road Department. He also ran his family business, Cornelius Farms. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed going to Kentucky Basketball games with his wife, Candice; spending time with his family; and hanging out in his shop with his wife, friends, and his dog, Daisy Mae. He loved being with his three grandchildren. He loved telling stories and could always make people laugh. Those that knew him, loved him. Survivors include his parents, Bill and Lois Ann Cornelius of Lewisburg; his wife, Candice Cornelius, whom he married on July 9, 2004; one daughter, Cherie Cornelius of Lewisburg; a step-son, Kyle Talley and his wife, Amber of Oaktown, IN; three grandchildren, Braydon Keasling, Landon Keasling, and Brittany Mendenhall. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Keith Hildabrand officiating. Interment will be in East Union Cemetery, Graham, KY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
