Jean L. Southerland

Jean L. Southerland, 77 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at her home in Russellville, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, March 22, 1932 in Logan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Wendall Johnson and the late Dovie Thomas Johnson. She was the wife of John Southerland who survives. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Steve Southerland of Russellville, KY and Jeff Southerland of Somerset, KY, brothers, Lloyd Johnson of Tampa, FL and Charles Johnson of Goodlettsville, TN, sisters, Colleen Abdouch of Hayward, CA and Annis Southerland of Russellville, KY; 5 grand children; 4 great grand children. She was predeceased by brothers, Bill Johnson, Clayton Johnson and Doug Johnson. A Funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday at Southern Heights Baptist Church with the Bro. Jearld Smith and Bro. Carl Freudenthal officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky and on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 beginning at 11:30 AM at the Southern Heights Baptist Church, Russellville, KY.
