James Walter Mcpherson

James Walter McPherson, 77 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, April 16, 1936 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, the son of the late Walter McPherson and the late Edna Hunt McPherson. He was a retired inspector at Emerson Electric, an Army veteran, and a member of New Vision Community Church. Surviving are sister, Lorene Green of Waterford Township, MI; several nieces and nephews, and ex-wife and close friend, Ann McPherson of Lewisburg, KY. He is preceded in death by Odell Skipworth, Mary Agnes Harris, and Olene Long. Jim loved gardening, dancing, karaoke music, and UK basketball. He will be remembered for always helping his family in times of need and for his quick wit and outgoing personality. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Bro. Brad Rogers and Bro. Nelson Clay Bodes officiating. Interment will be in Hughes Cemetery, Dunmor, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
