James V. Allen

Mr. James V. Allen, age 74, of Russellville, Ky., died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Ky. Mr. Allen was retired from BTR and was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. He Served in the Army during the Korean War. He was the son of the late Vechel Allen and the late Anna (Bomar) Allen. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Lula Bell (Eddings) Allen; Three Daughters, Mrs. Darlene Stuart of Auburn, Ky. Mrs. Sherry Rogers of Russellville, Ky. Mrs. Vickie Sandlin of Russellville, Ky. One Son, Mr. Howard Nash of Lexington, Ky. One Sister, Mrs. Christine White of Youngstown, Ohio Five grandchildren Seven great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by a son, James B. Allen. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM Sunday, July 1, 2007. Funeral service will be at Price Funeral Home Inc. at 2:00 PM Monday, July 2, 2007 , Rev. Gene Reynolds, Rev. Wayne Duncan and Rev. Chris Odle officiating.
