James Nolen Prather

James Nolen Prather, 71 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Med Center Health in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He was born Wednesday, July 29, 1953, the son of the late Jack Prather and the late Virginia Powell Prather. He was the husband of the late Carole Moore.
He was a correctional officer at Green River Correctional Complex and a veteran, having honorably served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are stepdaughter, Jennifer Moore (Grant Kitchens) of Lewisburg, KY; stepson, Jeff Pulley of Lewisburg; sister, Mary Prather of Russellville; brother, Donald Prather of Columbus, MS; grandson, Brylin Gregory of Lewisburg; granddaughter, Allie Kitchens of Lewisburg; nephew, Chris Prather of Auburn, and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister, Patricia Prather, stepson, Timmy Pulley, stepdaughter, Tammy Moore.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Smith Cemetery located at 128 Anderson Store Road, Russellville, Kentucky 42276 with Bro. Chris Phillips and Jeff Pulley officiating.
Pallbears for the service will be Jeff Pulley, Brylin Gregory, Grant Kitchens, Kris Tibbles, Chris Phillips, Chris Prather, Jason Whittinghill, Donald Prather, Tony Morgan and Allie Kitchens.
