James Kenneth Penrod, Sr.

James Kenneth Penrod Sr., 83 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Hospice Center of Southern Ky. in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He was born Wednesday, February 28, 1940, the son of the late James Penrod and the late Mae Penrod. He was the husband of the late Shirley Penrod.

He was a Truck driver and a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church and where he was a Deacon and Trustee of the church.

Surviving are Two Daughters, Anna Lois Cason (David) of Lewisburg, June Brown of Lewisburg; Five Sons, Chris Penrod of Russellville, Jimmy Penrod of Lewisburg, Pat Brown (Judy) of Russellville, David Brown (Terri) of Lewisburg, Mike Brown (Cindy) of Dickson TN; Sister, Beverly Harris (Nelson) of Lewisburg; 28 Grandchildren; 37 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren.

He was predeceased by Son, Junior Brown, Sisters, Margie Helton, Doris Jean Whitmore, and Minnie Johnson.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Darrin Pentecost, Bro. Tony Blake, and Chris Penrod officiating. Interment will be at Fitzhugh Cemetery.

Their will be a visitation on Friday at 5:00 pm at Price Funeral Home. On Saturday the family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
