James Kenneth Chapman

James "Kenneth" Chapman, 88 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at his residence.
He was born Monday, May 11, 1936, the son of the late James Elmer Chapman and the late Mayme Mae Gibson Chapman. He was the husband of Joyce Johnson Chapman, of Lewisburg, who survives.
He was a farm machinery mechanic and a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church. Kenneth was very active in his church. He spent many years as a deacon, taught Sunday School, and had served as the Sunday School Superintendent. He also sang in the choir and served on the Elk Lick Cemetery Committee.
In addition to his wife, Kenneth is also survived by his daughter, Kathy Basham of Russellville; son, Michael (Julia) Chapman of Lewisburg; three granddaughters, Brooke Neeld, Whitney Basham and MaKayla Nash; five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Kenny Hardin and Bro. Chris Odle officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
