James Garland Toomey

James Garland Toomey, 90 of Olmstead, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Creekwood Place in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born Friday, January 8, 1932, the son of the late Hobert Toomey, Sr. and the late Mildred Williams Toomey. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Insco Toomey. He was a self-employed rock and lime hauler and a member of New Hope General Baptist Church. Surviving are Daughter, Janie Davis - (Pat) of Olmstead, KY; Brother, Lindel Toomey of Greenville, KY. He was predeceased by Sisters, Rosie Bell Wallace, Wilda Jean Pearson; Brothers, JD Toomey, Raymond Toomey, Hobert McKinley Toomey, Jr., Harold Toomey, Jerry Toomey. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Pastor William Sofield officiating. Interment will be in Toomey Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
