James David Brooks, 42 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 2701 Cornith Rd in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born Tuesday, May 25, 1971 in Russellville, Kentucky, the son of James Brooks and Delores O'Dell Brooks, who both survive. He was a 3rd shift supervisor at Darling Industry (Griffin) and a member of Stuarts Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughter, Cora Brooks of Lewisburg, KY, foster daughter, Becca McGuffin of Lewisburg, KY, brother, Johnny Brooks of Russellville, KY, fiancee, Lyndsey Davenport of Adairville, KY, 2 step-daughters, Rhonda McCombs of Brownsville, KY and Veronica Odom of Bowling Green, KY, 3 step-grand daughters, Tori Drury, Taylor McGuffin, and Cierra Elmore, all of Brownsville, KY, maternal grandmother, Pearl O'Dell of Russellville, KY, and maternal step-grandmother, Shirley O'Dell, of Muscle Shoals, AL. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Cora Brooks, and maternal grandfather, Kenneth R. O'Dell. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Interment will be in Stuarts Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
