Jack Lendell Barnes, 80 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, May 22, 2015, at TriStar SkyLine Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born Saturday, September 22, 1934 in Bevier, Kentucky, the son of the late Ludie Barnes and the late Louise Harris Barnes. He was the husband of Mattie Knight Barnes, who survives. He was a coal miner for P&M Coal Co. and a member of Penrod Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, John Barnes of Lewisburg, KY, Raymond Barnes of Lewisburg, KY, Jody Barnes of Lewisburg, KY and Terry Barnes of Mortons Gap, KY, daughters, Ann Barnes of Graham, KY, Debbie Stevens of Cadiz, KY and Anna Lindsay of Auburn, KY; sisters, Geneva Schultz of Dunmor, KY, Jo Nell Rolley of Greenville, KY, Shirley Wenmoth of NC and Ella Mercer of Nebo, KY., 9 grand children; 9 great grand children. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Josie Lawrence A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Bobby Allen and Bro. Stony Hildabrand officiating. Interment will be in Wyatt Chapel Cemetery, Muhlenberg County, KY.
