J. C. Slaughter

Mr. J. C. Slaughter, age 84, of Lewisburg, Ky., died Monday, April 25, 2005, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Mr. Slaughter was a retired farmer and a member of Wileys Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert (Bob) Slaughter and Vivie (Mitchell) Slaughter. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Lillian (Sharp) Slaughter; Two Daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Driskill of Lewisburg, Ky. Mrs. Sharon Wells of Lewisburg, Ky. Two Sister-In-Laws, Mrs. Edith Slaughter of Lewisburg, Ky. Mrs. Gladys Slaughter of Lewisburg, Ky. Five grandchildren One step grandchild Ten great-grandchildren Three step great-grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2005 and from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2005. Visitation will also be at Wileys Chapel United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 28, 2005 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Funeral service will be at Wileys Chapel United Methodist Church at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2005, Rev. Travis Bryan and Rev. Tony Evitts officiating.
