Iva Mae Watson

Iva Mae Watson, 87 of Watson Rd. Auburn, Kentucky died on Thursday, January 8, 2009, at the Auburn Health Care in Auburn, Kentucky. She was born Sunday, October 30, 1921 in Spa, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Leander Hawley Johnson and the late Louvenna (Massey) Johnson. She was the wife of the late Earl S. Watson. She was homemaker and a member of Gasper River Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder and member of the CPWM. She was also a member of the Chandlers Homemaker Club. Surviving are son, David Watson of Auburn, KY, daughter, Sally Ferguson of Smiths Grove, KY, sister-in-law, Odessa Johnson of Lewisburg, KY; 9 grand children; 11 great grand children. Mrs. Watson was the youngest of 13 children. She was preceded in death by her 12 Brothers and Sisters. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Gasper River Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 3005 Bucksville Rd. Auburn, Kentucky 42206 with Bro. G. Ray Mayo officiating. Visitation will be held at the church starting at 10:00 AM on Monday. Interment will be in Bucksville Cemetery, Auburn, KY. The family will receive friends after 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2009, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
