Helen P. Gardner, 80 of Dunmor, Kentucky died on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at her residence. She was born Friday, March 13, 1936, the daughter of the late Herman Porter and Ruby Abbott Porter of Beaver Dam, KY, who survives. She was the wife of James E. Gardner of Dunmor, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Greenville, KY. Also surviving are sons, Jimmy Gardner -(Marilyn) of Henderson, KY, Scotty Gardner -(Teresa) of Browder, KY, Marty Gardner -(Helen) of Trenton, KY and Bobby Gardner -(April) of Auburn, KY, daughters, Peggy Gardner of Indianapolis, IN and Pam Dimmick of North Augusta, SC, brothers, Walter Porter of Beaver Dam, KY and Keith Porter of Beaver Dam, KY, sisters, Jeanetta Nance of Dixon, KY, Carrie DeArmond of Shepherdsville, KY and Jo Ann Ashby of Hartford, KY; 13 grand children; 17 great grand children and several step great grand children. Interment will be in the Gardner Farm Cemetery, Dunmor, KY. The family will receive friends after 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. The funeral Service will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. with Bro. Charlie Jones officiating.
