Mr. Gene Whitmon, age 70, of Lewisburg, KY, died Monday, October 13, 2008, at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Mr. Whitmon was a retired Machine Operator at the Carpenter Co. in Russellville and a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Riley Whitmon and the late Minnie (Burchett) Whitmon He is survived by his wife; Jewel (Skipworth) Whitmon. One Son: Lannie Whitmon, Lewisburg, KY Three Sisters: Ruth Crowder, Louisville, KY Lorene Whitescarver, Dayton, OH Ernestine Shemwell, Munfordville, KY Two Grand Sons: Kyle Whitmon, Lewisburg, KY Coit Whitmon, Lewisburg, KY Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, KY where the visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 after 5:00 PM. The Funeral service will be at Price Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 15, 2008, Bro. David Morgan officiating.
