Freddie LeDonn Borders, 69 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Kindred at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, October 21, 1948, the son of the late Thurmon Borders and Marvine Meador Borders, who survives. He was the husband of Barbara Borders, who also survives. He was a retired educator for the Logan County School System. He was a member and song leader of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 32 years, and was also a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was also a member of the deGraffenreid Chorale. In addition to his wife and mother, Freddie is survived by his son, Jeff Borders (Erin) of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Stephannie Coursey (Patrick) of Lewisburg, KY, sisters, Frieda Pitchford (Mark) of Bowling Green, KY and Connie Williams of Lewisburg, KY, along with 6 grandchildren, Ross, Neil, and Sloan Coursey, and Bailey, Bethany, and Emily Borders, all of Lewisburg, KY. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Gene Bracken and Bro. Bob Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
