Fred Douglas Sweatt, 74 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, July 7, 1935 in Logan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Leslie Sweatt and the late Evelyn (Sweatt) Sweatt. He was laborer in a factory. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. Surviving are brother, David Sweatt of Hopkinsville, KY, sisters, Minnie Sweatt - (Warren G.) of Jeffersonville, IN, Mattie Dorris Garnett of Jeffersonville, IN, Joella Beauford of Jeffersonville, IN, Edna Ruth Mason - (Robert) of Omaha, NE, Joyce Duffey - (Thomas) of Lewisburg, KY and Barbara Tisdale - (Claude) of Auburn, KY. He was predeceased by sister, Mag Sweatt. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E.Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Harold Carter officiating. Interment will be in New Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
