Frankie Mayes

Frankie Mayes, 91 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, August 2, 1928, the son of the late Isaac Mayes and the late Bertha Joines Mayes. He was the husband of the late Agnes Pauline Coursey Mayes. He was a maintenance technician and an electrician. Frankie also attended Pleasant Union General Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Larry Mayes of Hendersonville, TN, daughter, Shirley Risinger of Wadesville, IN, brother, Samuel Martin Mayes of Tywhoppity, KY; 4 grand children; 8 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church located at 5529 Deerlick Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. James Roy Lear officiating. Interment will be in Wileys Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256. Visitation will also start at 9:00 AM on Monday at Pleasant Union General Baptist Church and will continue until the time of the service.
