Francis Gerald "Jerry" Blackwell II, 69, of Lewisburg, KY passed away on December 7, 2018 in Robertson County due to an automobile accident. Jerry was born in Richmond, VA to Francis G. Blackwell & Frances Reid Blackwell on November 28, 1949. He went to school at Atlantic Christian College (Barton College) in Wilson, NC. He married Deborah on May 17, 2009 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He worked at H & H Sheet Metal in Russellville, KY. He was a member of The Gathering Church of Vanleer, Tennessee. Jerry is preceded in death by his Father, Francis Gerald Blackwell of North Carolina. Jerry is survived by his spouse, Deborah C. Blackwell of Lewisburg, KY. His two sons, Benjamin Martin Blackwell and Christopher Nathan Blackwell of North Carolina. His step-children, Adam Gafford (Lori) of Lewisburg, KY, April Hunt (Jeremy) of Los Angeles, CA and Atlee Gafford (Emily) of Overland Park, KS. His mother, Frances Reid Blackwell of Roanoke Rapids, NC. His aunt, Phyllis ‘Diddie’ Blackwell of Virginia. His siblings, Judy Laughridge (Palmer) of Wilson, NC, Steve Blackwell (Gina) of Chapel Hill, NC, Bill Blackwell (Debbie) of Chapel Hill, NC. He has 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral services will be held Thursday, December, 13th at Price Funeral Home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. The Family will receive friends from 2:00 until time of service, 4:00 PM. 252 E Green St, Lewisburg, KY 42256 There will also be a memorial service held in North Carolina, details on this service to come.
