Flossie Whitman, 86 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Creekwood Place in Russellville, Kentucky. She was born Sunday, April 26, 1931 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William Anderson and the late Bessie Anderson Anderson. She was the wife of the late Hester (Jimmy) Whitman. She was a homemaker and a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Gary Whitman of Lewisburg, KY, Rocky Whitman of Russellville, KY and Jim Ed Whitman of Lewisburg, KY, daughters, Barbara Whitman of Lewisburg, KY and Lisa Boarman - (Steve) of Lewisburg, KY; 7 grand children; Thad Drake-(Tina), Brianna Cole -(Justin), Katie Keith -(Martin), Jonathan Whitman, Joseph Whitman -(Amber) and Evan Ashby, 9 great grand children. She was predeceased by son; Terry Wayne Whitman, 2 brothers, 4 sisters. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Darren Pentecost, Bro. David Morgan, and Bro. Glen Harper officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
