Flossie Owens Majors

Flossie Owens Majors, 88 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born Monday, May 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Norman E. "Jack" Owens and the late Emma Neel Owens. She was the wife of the late George Majors. She was employed by Logan County School System as a bus monitor. Prior to that she was employed by Todd County School System as a bus driver. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Surviving are son, Charles Gale Brown-(Nancy) of Elkton, KY, daughters, Phyllis Kennedy of Russellville, KY and Vicki Penrod of Russellville, KY, brother, Bill Owens of Russellville, KY; half brother, Robert Brown -(Wanda) of Elkton, KY, grand children, Deanna Kilpatrick- (Mike) of Uvalde, TX, Travis Settle of Russellville, KY, Maleah Goodall of Russellville, KY, Angela Brown-(Chris) of Olmstead, KY, Rodney Brown-(Jenny) of Elkton, KY, Nicole Morris-(Tony) of Springfield, TN, Courtney Craig-(David) of Russellville, KY; 11 great grand children, 6 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Doug Brown who had lived in Waco, TX. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
