Ernest Dewayne "Ernie" Brooks, 64 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Thursday, December 21, 1950 in Logan County, Kentucky, the son of the late Wilbur B. Brooks and the late Cora Ausbrooks Brooks. He was a laborer for Labor Union and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Surviving are daughter, Tina Dukes, brother, James Brooks (Delores) of Lewisburg, KY; 4 grand children, and close friend Tony Henderson (Penny) of Lewisburg, KY; special nieces and nephew, Cora Brooks, Becca McGuffin and Jon Brooks all of Lewisburg, KY. He was predeceased by daughter, Melissa Brooks and brother, Leonard Brooks. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Interment will be in Stuarts Chapel Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
