Elvis Lee Latham, 79 of Auburn, Kentucky died on Monday, April 4, 2011, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky. He was born Friday, November 13, 1931 in Todd County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Vernon Latham and the late Gladys Garrett Latham. He was the husband of the late Eva Skipworth Latham. He was a retired Punch Press Operator for Emerson Electric. He served in the Navy. He was a Veteran of Korean War. He was a member of Pleasant Union General Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Jeff Latham - (Amy) of Auburn, KY, daughters, Teresa Yates - (Mitchell) of Auburn, KY, Lois DeBerry - (Jimmy Britt) of Auburn, KY, Donna Cox - (Jeff) of Auburn, KY, Jenny Blackford - (Jeff) of Auburn, KY and Regina Alford - (Dewayne) of Auburn, KY, brothers, Doyle Latham of Rosewood, KY and Drexel Latham of Lewisburg, KY, sisters, Deweese Steele of Rosewood, KY and Velma Dukes of Elkton, KY; 15 grand children; 9 great grand children. He was predeceased by brothers, Benny David Latham and Doris Latham and also grand son Eric Shawn Yates. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Chris Vaught, Rev. Kris Freeman and Rev. Garry Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in Plainview Church Cemetery, Auburn, KY.
