Elmer Boyd Drake

Elmer Boyd Drake, age 92, of Lewisburg, KY, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at his residence in Lewisburg. Mr. Drake was a retired farmer, plumber and former employee at Rockwell and was a member of Beechland Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was the son of the late Zak Drake and the late Callie (Burney) Drake He was the husband of the late Nancy Evelyn Peay He is survived by Three Daughters: Shelby Morgan, Russellville, KY Louise Layne, Springfield, TN Rita Purvis, Shepherdsville, KY Three Sons: Larry Drake, Russellville, KY David Drake, Lewisburg, KY Roger Drake, Auburn, KY 18 Grand Children 31 Great-Grand Children 21 Great-Great-Grand Children He was also preceded in death by Two Sons, Darrell Drake and Robert Drake and Two Grandchildren, Darrell Drake, Jr. and Tammy Embry Memorial contributions may be made to the Beechland Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, KY where the visitation will be held after 5:00 PM on Thursday November 13, 2008. Visitation will also be held on Friday November 14, 2008 after 10:00 AM at the Beechland Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at Beechland Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 14, 2008, Bro. Richard Allen and Bro. Glendel Harper officiating.
