Edna Nadine Soyars

Edna Nadine Soyars, 80 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Hearthstone Place in Elkton, Kentucky.

She was born Thursday, November 11, 1943, the daughter of the late Charles Dowd and the late Radie Insco Dowd. She was the wife of the late Charles Thomas Soyars.

She was a line worker at Emerson Electric. She was a member of Keysburg Baptist Church and attended Eastside Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughter, Darlene (Mike) Smith of Russellville, KY and step-daughter, Brenda Knight of Russellville, KY; five grandchildren, Erik (Morgan) Smith of Beechmont, Tabatha Knight Vassey (Darrell) of Russellville, Charlene Soyars of Scottsville, Samatha Knight of Russellville, Ethan Soyars of Scottsville all from KY; nine Great-grandchildren; one Great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by Step-son, Gary Soyars, Step-son, Charles "CW" Wayne Soyars, Sister, Jean Ashby, Grandson, Brandon Smith, Brother, Rayburn "Stumpy" Dowd and Brother, Hubert Dowd.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Alen Woodward and Jimmy Chapman officiating. Interment will be at Arnold Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the time of the service on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
