Edna Claris Vaughn

Edna Claris Vaughn, 97 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Monday, February 6, 2012, at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia, Maryland. She was born on Saturday, February 21, 1914 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Frank Bivin and the late Lee Austin Bivin. She was the wife of the late Byron "Shorty" Vaughn, Sr. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughter, Carolyn Leveque of Ellicott City, MD; grand daughters, Jo Ellen Hart of Cincinnati, OH, Susan Thompson of Toledo, OH and grand son, Jimmy Vaughn of Cincinnati, OH.and six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son; Byron "Butch" Vaughn, Jr. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Sandy Douglass officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
