Earl Wayne Capps, Jr.

Mr. Earl Wayne Capps, Jr., age 54, of Lewisburg, Ky., died Monday, August 1, 2005, at his residence in Lewisburg, Ky. Mr. Capps, Jr. was President of Kipp Transportation. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the VFW, American Legion, Ghostriders Assoc. and the Vietnam Helicopter Pilot Assoc.He Served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He received a Bronze Star and 2 Distinquished Service Crosses. He was the son of the late Earl Capps, Sr. and the late Clara (Johnson) Capps. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Eva R. (Futrell) Capps; Two Sons, Mr. Earl (Andy) Wayne Capps, III. - (Jennifer) of Versailles, Ky. Mr. Daniel Eric Capps - (Katie) of Lawrence, Kan. Two Brothers, Mr. Jerry Capps - (Patricia) of Florence, S.C. Mr. Dwight Capps- (Donna) of Florence, S.C. One grandson, Eli Wayne Capps of Versailles, Ky. Two Nieces, Angie McLamb of Benson, N.C. Michelle Capps of Florence, S.C. Three Nephews, Douglas Capps of Madisonville, Ky. Jay Capps of Florence, S.C. Jeremy Capps of Florence S.C. Arrangements are being handled by Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. - P.O. Box 299, Lewisburg, Ky., where the family will receive friends after 5:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2005. Funeral service will be at Price Funeral Home Inc. at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 4, 2005 , Rupbert Harrell, James Dauley and Randall Coffman officiating. The body will be cremated.
