Earl Glenn Shemwell, Sr., 77 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Friday, December 7, 2012, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born Tuesday, February 26, 1935 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Frank Shemwell and the late Osie Allen Shemwell. He was the husband of the late Nancy Shemwell. He was a retired truck driver with Roadway and a member of Oak Forrest Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Earl Glenn Shemwell, Jr. - (Edie) of Los Angeles, CA and Anthony Wayne Shemwell - (Evelyn) of Jacksonville, FL, daughter, Gwendolyn McAdams - (Richard) of Brentwood, TN, brother, Jimmy Shemwell -(Jeanette) of Russellville, KY, sister, Mary Jo Michael - (Willis) of Canton, GA; 4 grand children; 1 great grand child. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. David Morgan officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
