Dorothy Nell Lyons, 94 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at her residence.
She was born Tuesday, May 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Boyd Leo (Pete) Pogue and the late Onie Lee Rainwaters Pogue. She was the wife of the late Aldwin "Jam up" Lyons.
She was a Operator/Owner at Corner Grocery and a member of Life Temple Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are Two Daughters, Sheila Pierson of Lewisburg, KY, Elaine (Clifford Ray) Harper of Lewisburg, KY; Three Granddaughters, Chastacee Gidcumb of Houston, TX, Ashley Thomason of Scottsville, KY, Nikki St Clair of Berkeley Springs, WV; Grandson, Devin Harper of Russellville, KY, 11 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was predeceased in death by grandson Walter Keith Shelton, 2 Brothers Bill Pogue, James Pogue.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with officiating Bro. Gene Bagby and Bro Timothy Gidcumb. Interment will be in Fitzhugh Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
