Dorothy Lee Tomes, 86 of the Lewisburg Rd., Russellville, Kentucky died on Friday, March 20, 2015, at her residence. She was born Tuesday, September 11, 1928 in Muhlenberg Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roy Pierson and the late Dee Knight Pierson. She was the wife of the late Clifford Tomes. She was retired from Emerson Electric and had worked at sewing factories in Indiana. Surviving are son, Don Tomes - (Shelly) of Russellville, KY; 3 grand children; Corey Tomes - (Kayla), Jacob Tomes and Connie Meredith - (Wes) all of Russellville and 3 great grand children; Chloe Meredith, Avery Meredith and Macie Tomes all of Russellville.. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. James Slack officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
