Dorothy Evelyn Logsdon, 93, of Springfield, Tennessee, formerly of Lewisburg, KY died Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center in Clarksville, Tennessee. Born Sunday, October 22, 1922 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lee Shoemaker and the late Eunice Coursey Shoemaker. She was the wife of the late James Logsdon. She was self-employed, a member of the Lewisburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and also a member of the Lewisburg Eastern Star. Surviving are sons, Vance Logsdon of Lewisburg, KY and Brett Logsdon of Arab, AL; daughter, Sabrina Potter of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Elnora Crawford of Dayton, OH, Ruby Porter of Lewisburg, KY and Shirley Perry of Louisville, KY; 10 grand children; 18 great grand children. She was predeceased by son, Roddy Logsdon; daughter, Janet Logsdon Angles. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Edward Colf officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
