Dora Jean Gower

Dora Jean Gower, 89 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born Friday, March 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Vernon Williams and the late Gladys Vaughn Williams. She was the wife of the late Carl Gower. She was a retired seamstress from Red Kap and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Wayne Gower of Brentwood, TN, Steve Gower of Lewisburg, KY and Roger Gower of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Cheryl Woods of Franklin, TN, sisters, Betty Coursey of Auburn, KY and Pauline Comperchio of New York, NY; 8 grand children; 11 great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday June 15, 2019 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
