Dona Belle Wood

Dona Belle Wood, 101 of Penrod, Kentucky died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Diversicare of Greenville in Greenville, Kentucky. She was born Thursday, February 18, 1915 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Isaac McIntosh and the late Annie Moore McIntosh. She was the wife of the late Homer Wood. She worked the assembly line for General Electric. She was a member of Penrod Baptist Church since 1932, Member of UMW for 21 years, Secretary of Vacation Bible School for 42 Years, and Secretary of Church Training Union from 1952-2009. Surviving are son, Harold McIntosh - Sonja of Dunmor, KY, sister, Nadine Costellow of Lewisburg, KY; 7 grand children; 23 great grand children, and 41 great great grandchildren. A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Penrod Baptist Church. Interment will be in Penrod Baptist Church Cemetery, Penrod, KY. The family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
