Deborah Ann Evans, 75, of Clarksville, Tennessee formally of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on June 17th in her home surrounded by friends and family.
She was born April 29th, 1948, in Greenville, Kentucky to the late John Hunt and the late Louie Paradine Pryor Hunt. She is preceded in death by sister, Sue Jones, brothers Dean Hunt, Ronnie Hunt, Owen Hunt, and Jeffery Hunt. She is survived by one sister, Linda Mcintosh.
She is also survived by her Husband, John D. Turner, son, Shannon Bratton, and grandchildren, Jackson Bratton, and Maggie Bratton.
She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church; she was formally a member and treasurer of New Providence Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted Chief of Services for the Training Support Center of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She retired in 2009 after 38 years of service.
Deborah spent much of her life catering to others, from volunteering at Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen to hosting sophisticated dinner gatherings in her home on her distinctive collection of blue and white china. Deborah was also involved with the Habitat for Humanity.
Deborah spent her most cherished memories surrounded by her friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, especially when caring for her youngest brother, Jeffery Hunt.
In her retirement years, Debbie enjoyed traveling with friends or her husband, John D. Turner. In addition to several destinations, she was able to meet her goal of traveling to all 50 states.
A funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky; with Brother Paul Scott officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery in Muhlenberg County.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Another visitation will be held at 10:30 am until the time of service on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.
