Darrell Lee Boatwright, 74 of Dunmor, Kentucky died on Sunday, November 27, 2016, at the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky. He was born Tuesday, June 9, 1942 in Beech Creek, Kentucky, the son of the late Albert Boatwright and the late Adell Wood Boatwright. He was the husband of Josie Smith Boatwright of Dunmor, who survives. He was retired from maintenance at Emerson Electric, a member of the Beech Creek Pentecostal Church and the NRA. Also surviving are son, Daniel Boatwright, Sr. of Dunmor, KY, brother, Albert Boatwright of Dunmor, KY, sister, Wilma Brooks of Greenville, KY; 3 grand children, Antonio Boatwright, Daniel Boatwright, Jr. and Jacob Boatwright all of Dunmor, KY. He was predeceased by son, Stephen Lee Boatwright. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Roy Loney officiating. Interment will be in Hughes Cemetery, Dunmor, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
