Darrell Dean "Dukie" Skipworth, Sr.

Darrell Dean "Dukie" Skipworth Sr. 76 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born Sunday, January 11, 1948, the son of the late Shellie Skipworth and the late Alpha Garrett Skipworth. He was the husband of the late Rebecca Rose Mayberry Skipworth.
Dukie honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Dukie enjoyed working on his farm and loved fishing with family and friends. Additionally, he was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Baker of Olmstead, KY; three sons, D.J. (Jennifer) Skipworth of Russellville, KY, Michael (Barbara) Skipworth of Cameron, MO, Keith (Fran) Skipworth of Scottsville, KY; two sisters, Phyllis (Dallas) Bilbrey of Russellville, KY and Carolyn (Bill) McCall of Russellville, KY; 13 Grandchildren; 16 Great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Quinton Lynn Skipworth, Roger Dale Skipworth, Rod Skipworth and Russell Skipworth; one sister, Eva Latham.
A graveside service will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Lewisburg Cemetery located at 195 Deerlick Road, Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Craig Skipworth officiating.
