Connie Rhea Porter, 84 of the Anderson Store Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, July 10, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sunday, August 3, 1924 in Logan Co., Kentucky, the son of the late U. W. Porter and the late Ever Roxie (Woodall) Porter. He was the husband of Wilma Jean (Lush) Porter of Lewisburg, KY. He was was a retired automobile mechanic. He served as a Seaman Second Class USNR in the Navy from 1944 until 1946. He was a Veteran of World War II. Surviving are sons, William "Bill" Ray Porter of Franklin, KY, Edward Lee Porter of Lewisburg, KY and Donald Gene Porter of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Connie Elizabeth Nash of Memphis, TN, sister, Mildred Soer of Beardstown, IL. He was predeceased by sisters, Ella Orange , Mae Fuller and Nadine Belcher and brothers Edgar Porter, Ellis Porter and Walter Porter. A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Cedar Cemetery. Interment will be in Cedar Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. Funeral Home: Price Funeral Home, Inc. 252 E.
