Clarence Henry "Hank" Eggers, Jr.

Clarence Henry "Hank" Eggers Jr., 83 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at his residence.

He was born Friday, August 1, 1941, the son of the late Clarence Eggers Sr. and the late Melba Humphrey Eggers. He was the husband of the late Jonelle Eggers.

Hank was a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church. He also attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Hank honorably served his country in the Army. While in the Army Hank earned the bronze star medal, meritorious service medal 1st OLC, army commendation medal 3D OLC, national defense service medal, good conduct medal 6th award, master parachutist badge, meritorious unit commendation, and the Vietnam service medal. He also spent 3 tours in Vietnam, and was a construction engineer while also being a master parachutist. Hank retired out of the 101st airborne division and his last rank while in the Army was sergeant first class.

Surviving are three daughters, Rose (Bruce) Albert of Madison, AL, Judi (Jon) Blair of Nashville, TN, Sherry Potts of Clarksville, TN; brother, Jerry (Norma) Eggers of Martin, TN; sister, Linda (Richard) Richnospk of Wyoming, MN; special-niece, Vicki Ramsey of Woodlawn, TN; daughter-in-law, Robyn Ashby of Clarksville, TN; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by son, James Ashby, son, Johnny Eggers, daughter, Shirley Woodward, sister, Bonnie Sorrick, grandson, Jeffery Woodward, grandson, Mikey Bryant and granddaughter, Ronda Bryant.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green Street, Lewisburg, Kentucky with Bro. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Monday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
