Charles Theron Dorris

Charles Theron Dorris, 86 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, April 1, 2011, at his home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. He was born Wednesday, August 13, 1924 in Beech Creek, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Theron Dorris and the late Della Knight Dorris. He was the husband of the late Alma Jewel Coe Dorris. He was retired from TVA and also self employed doing detail and body work. He served in the Navy. He was a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. Surviving are sons, Gary Dorris of Lewisburg, KY and Thomas Dorris of Dunmor, KY, daughters, Gail Wilson of Dunmor, KY and Paula Dorris of Evansville, IN, brother, Freeman Dorris of Bowling Green, KY, sister, Lola Coe of Henderson, KY; 6 grand children; 10 great grand children and 3 great great grand children. A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Mr. Dale Byrum and Mr. Chris Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery, Logan Co., KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky. There will also be a visitation on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky.
