C.B. Cornett

C. B. Cornett, 71 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at his residence. He was born Wednesday, July 10, 1940 in Henry Co., Virginia , the son of the late Roy Cornett and the late Sarilda Peak Cornett. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Lee Omer Cox Cornett. He was the husband of Carolyn Richards Cornett of Russellville, who survives. He was a self employed electrician. He served in the Army and was a Veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Epley Baptist Church where he was a deacon. Surviving are sons, Murphy Cornett-(Sunny) of Russellville, KY and Stephen Taylor -(Catherine) of Auburn, KY, daughter, Janice Duncan-(Paul) of Sneedville, TN, brothers, Cecil Cornett of Martinsville, VA and Paul Cornett of Bassett, VA; 8 grand children. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Bill Vaught and Rev. Robert Tarence officiating. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
