Carolyn Sue Garrett

Carolyn Sue Garrett, 64 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Monday, November 23, 2009, at her home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. She was born Wednesday, July 11, 1945 in Hindsboro, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Jonah Stevens and the late Effie Grubb Stevens. She was the wife of Wendell Garrett who survives. She was a retired nurses aide at a Nursing Home. She was a member of House of Prayer. Surviving are step sons, Johnny Lynn Garrett of Horse Cave, KY; Marty Wayne Garrett of Greenville, KY; Shane Todd Garrett of Greenville, KY; brothers, Wilbur Lee Stevens of Mattoon, IL and Larry Joe Stevens of Greenup, IL, sisters, Nancy Groene of Fremont, NE and Virginia Taylor of Mattoon, IL; 13 grand children; 8 great grand children. She was predeceased by sisters, Marilyn Lou Cribular and Thursa Marie Rust. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Tony Blake and Rev. James Roy Lear officiating. Interment will be in Cliff HillCemetery.
