Carl Edward Gower, 88 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Tuesday, June 21, 1927, the son of the late George Raymond Gower and the late Nettie Henderson Gower. He was the husband of Jean (Williams) Gower who survives.. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Also surviving are sons, Wayne Gower of Brentwood, TN, Steve Gower of Lewisburg, KY and Roger Gower of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Cheryl Woods of Franklin, TN; 8 grand children; 8 great grand children. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Rev. Tim Nugent officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 5:00 PM on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg, Kentucky.
