Wayne Anderson, 80 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born Wednesday, April 28, 1943, the son of the late Robert Anderson and the late Sarah Piper Anderson. He was the husband of Betty Anderson who survives.
He was a Master Electrician for Gibraltar Coal Company and a member of Dumnor Baptist Church. Wayne was a HAM radio operator with the handle KM4ZU. He was also a member of UMWA Local 1092.
Also surviving are Two Daughters, Kathy Johnson (Jeff) of Newburgh, IN, Lisa Mefford (Doug) of Hendersonville, TN; Two Granddaughters, Payton Erk (Andy) of Nashville, TN, Piper Carr (Hunter) of Evansville, IN; Three Grandsons, Derek Mefford (Callie) of Chattanooga, TN, Lance Mefford of Hendersonville, TN, Jacob Johnson (Erica) of Carmel, IN; Great-granddaughter, Mallory Louise Johnson of Carmel, IN.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; Interment will be at Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
