Bobby Owen Brown

Bobby Owen Brown, 86 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville, Kentucky.

He was born Tuesday, January 4, 1938, the son of the late Wiley Brown and the late Dena Stuart Brown. He was the husband of Grace Brown who survives.

He was a member of Pleasant Union General Baptist Church.

Bobby honorably served his country and retired from the Army National Guard. He served from 1956 to 1991.

Also surviving are two daughters, Annette (Jay) Goff of Frankfort, KY, Ophia Ughamba of Frankfort, KY; five sons, Pat (Judy) Brown of Russellville, KY, David (Terri) Brown of Drakesboro, KY, Mike (Cindy) Brown of Dickson, TN, Anthony (Sue) Brown of Frankfort, KY, Chris Brown of Madisonville, KY; step-daughter, Carol Insco of Lewisburg, KY; two step-sons, Lindsay Clark of Florida, Craig Trude of Dunmor, KY; Several grandchildren; Several great-grandchildren and Several great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by daughter, June Brown Schleiter, son, Bobby Junior Brown, sister, Nellie Jo Smith, brother, J.W. Brown and brother, David Bub Brown.

There will be a visitation at 1:00 pm at the cemetery until the time of the service.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Martin Cemetery located at 3595 Peach Orchard Road Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256; with Bro. Gary Mitchell officiating.
