Barbara Lawson Porter, 54 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Monday, January 6, 2014, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born Sunday, November 22, 1959 in Marion, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Joe Leonard Lawson and Irene Roach Smith (James R.), who survives. She was the wife of Phillip Porter, who also survives. She was a homemaker and attended Quality Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Tyler Porter of Lewisburg, KY, sisters, Ruth Lawson Bland (Stewart) of Trenton, KY and Jenny Lawson Morris (T.T.) of Clarksville, TN. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Pete Phelps officiating. Interment will be in Quality Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY. The family will receive friends after 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E.
