Barbara Jean Skipworth, 67 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at her residence in Lewisburg, Kentucky.
She was born Thursday, May 9, 1957, the daughter of the late James Henderson and the late Lucille Shoemake Henderson. She was the wife of the late Rev. Quinton Skipworth.
She was a secretary at S&S Land Surveying and a member of Cornerstone Community Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Skipworth (Joe Boggs) of Russellville, KY and Lisa (John) DeWeese of Brazil, IN; son, Jay (Brittany) Skipworth of Lewisburg, KY; three sisters, Betty Hendrix, Lois (Kenny) Rosser, and Goldie (JR) Whitman all of Lewisburg, KY; four brothers, Wayne (Bonnie) Henderson of Russellville, KY, Ricky Henderson of Lewisburg, KY, Richie (Connie) Henderson of Russellville, KY and Randy (Danielle) Henderson of Lewisburg, KY; six granddaughters, Jaycee Skipworth, Raven Boggs, Haley Boggs, Paisley Boggs, Lilah Boggs and Nicole (Kevin) McCarley; four grandsons, Braydon Boggs, Jeremiah Boggs, John DeWeese, and Lincoln DeWeese.
She was predeceased by daughter, Marecia Jean Skipworth, sister, Sue Carol Hinton and brother, Billy Ray Henderson.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg. Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.
